Fine Art Giclee Print: Devil's Club Scientific Illustration
Special edition, fine art series, print by Mustard Beetle owner, Elizabeth Jean Younce
This item is an Archival Giclee Print of an Original Watercolor Illustration "Devil's Club" featuring flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest: The Devil’s Club woody stem is covered in noxious and irritating spines but, when harvested and prepared properly this plant can be used for medicinal purposes. Even our delicate pollinators, the red-belted bumble bee, are able to utilize its flora. The humble rough-skinned newt exudes a deadly toxin from its skin. Meanwhile, black slugs, invasive from Europe, wreak havoc on our flora.
